A holy book is not a requirement to believe in God. The evidence in nature of God's existence is so overwhelming that only a fool would deny it. "The fool hath said in his heart there is no God" (Psalms 14:1). Anyone can disprove anything if he has the right "evidence" and spin. I could prove that life is all an illusion and we were really parasites living on Mars, if my "evidence" were acceptable to you. With enough evidence anything can be proven or disproven. So in the end the determining factor is you and what you are willing to accept as evidence. If you choose not to believe in a God, He could slap you across the face and the evidence of His existence would still be inconclusive.

The Holy Bible, will never be proven wrong. If someone could prove to you that it is 100% accurate, would you then believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of Heaven and Earth ?? It says: Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and Thou Shalt Be Saved !!!

My Holy Book used to be the Bible. And I found out it was not 100% accurate, and was written by men with sometimes not-so-good motives. I still believe in God. God predates the Bible, or any other "Holy Book."

People will continue to go out of their way to prove ALL Holy Books wrong.
Faith is what keeps us binded with God. His teachings are meant to be abided by, but faith is what makes us love God and know that he is there with us, no matter what we do.
Besides, someone would have to be insane to think that the Bible hasn't been changed over the years. People have always changed it to what they wanted to hear, or it's just been a simple matter of misinterpretations.
Whatever the case may be, I would rather live my life like there is a God, and find out there isn't, than to live my life like there isn't, and find out there IS.

I would believe in a higher power if I never read the Bible, or was never told. From a small child I have always believed in God. Everything I look at reminds me of God, except evil.
IF someone said the Bible was false, and had proof, I would still believe in God.
I will never believe the Bible is false. I believe it is 100% accurate.

Yes I would still believe in God, and in fact, I would be a little relieved because then people would be forced to re-evaluate what they do, and why.
It would be very difficult to actually prove the Bible wrong. People thing they have done it, but it really is an inspired book. Yes, there might appear to be discrepancies, but it would be more suspicious in a sense if there wasn't, because there needs to be allowances for human error (humans wrote it under the inspiration of God). If you read it only looking to discredit, you might find what you are looking for, but if you actually want to know who God is, and read the Bible you will also find what (or should I say Whom) you are looking for.

Hmm.... My holy book(Bible) has been pretty accurate so far....so I would still believe in God because there's nothing else to believe in that makes half the sense that the Bible makes...

My belief in God has alot to do with the Bible, but I also have faith in him because of the things that he has done in my life. Good and bad, it has happened for a reason. They'll have to do a lot more than "scientifically" prove that the Bible is wrong.
