There's nothing inately wrong about dating him. There is if you know you can't be good to him or treat him the way you know your best friend would want you to.
And don't take her feelings for granted. Sit her down, tell her you value her friendship, but you also like her brother, and how would she feel if you started dating him?

No but just make sure that your best friend does not have a feel for you! Most people are best friends first before they fall over each other.

Depends, Does she know? If he broke up with you who would you confide in? You can't tell you best friend all your boyfriends secrets like you would if he was some other guy? What is you wanted to break up with him and it devastated him, how would it affect your relationship with your best friend? It's not like "Friends" there are a lot of negatives to go along with the positive.

I dated my friend's brother and she was TOTALLY okay with it. It worked out well because she would give me "insider tips" on how he is.
BUT, you should talk to your best friend beforehand so they dont feel like you are betraying them or anything, although i couldnt understand why someone would have a problem with you dating their sibling... it really has nothing to do with them. =)

You might make your best friend envius because you spend more time with their brother so I would be careful. If your relationship falls apart it would be because of you dating her brother, so I would be careful.

WELL....THAT'S TOFF ...you need to be aware that if it doesn't work out it could damage your friendship . i use to date an old friend brother we actually became boyfriend and girlfriend the time pass and things dint work out sow we finish...my friendship did to...you should be aware of the risks...just think about this...their are a lot of boys in the world but trust me there not to many friends...who to you prefer?

it's not wrong but it may seem awkward for your bestfriend. and if ever it didn't work out between you two, it's gonna be weird being his sister's bestfriend. my best friend and i talk about everything including, but not limited to boys, it's gonna be a lil uncomfortable to talk about a guy if the guy is my best friend's brother.. =D
