My b/f is sending me mixed signals: one minute I am his sweetheart & he wants to learn my native language (!), & the next he gets cold he's like checking what he says & says cut me some slack...
I am not even putting any pressure on him for marriage.

Ask yourself - would you really prefer it if we was all over you 24/7? Wouldn't you feel stifled and uncomfortable?
Just because someone needs their individual space doesn't mean they don't love you. Often we feel that we want a lot more from our relationship, when in fact if we had it we wouldn't want it. Enjoy the times you spend together, and also make sure you have some time for yourself and himself.
