Many Christians believe that God sends people to hell for eteranal torment and grief. Forever tortured in the flames of hell. The candiates include even their own family members.

How many Christians out there are so eager to send their "unsaved" family and friends to this type of eternity? Probably none. But their all loving God is very willing. He is the just the kind of mean, nasty, vendictive God that will send their moms, brothers, sisters and children to eternal damnation when they themselves would not. Are Christians more loving and compassionate than their God?

Nearly every religion on the planet has proponents who have an apocalyptic obsession, where their side wins the booty and everyone else gets the booby prize. Christendom's nasty preoccupation with hell, judgment and damnation is just another example. I am convinced that most of those who call themselves Christian, are holding out in their heart of hearts, that God is more merciful, gracious and accepting than what they learned in religious classes. I think they really don't believe the ghastly, vicious, moronic dogma they've learned about their God ******* most of the human race as well as his creation. And if they looked closer at the scriptures they deem Holy, they would find as much evidence for his mercy as their sociopathic counterparts find for his malevolence.

You do not know your scriptures, neither do you know God. God is loving and would never send anyone to a place called hell, because there is no such place. Hell is a place invented by some Christian religions to scare their people. No where in the original scriptures is there a mention of hell. And by the way, we are all endowed with free will by our God, it is a personal choice to gain eternal life and also it is our choice to refuse that blessing......."The ridiculer has sought to find wisdom, and there is none;but to the understanding one knowledge is an easy thing"-Proverbs 14:6....KECK

Actually Christians are far less forgiving than God.

I know of no one God has condemned to hell yet. Lucifer isn't even there yet. Lucifer roams the world and has considerable influence here.

Christians on the other hand are very quick to cite the arcane and misquote/intrepret the Talmud for the purpose of condemning those who are different or those who are the same but show/get caught being less than perfect.

God can and does forgive everything.

The answer to your question is no Christians are not as forgiving as God. You should refer back to your Holy Bible. Don't let people of today have you losing track of the way life really is. We do have 2 lives. The life we live here on earth is a short life. The after life is an eternal life. God gives us the choice of living a earthly life (yielding to the wants of our flesh) and the other life is living according to His (God) word.

Yeah, and what about the people who are incapable of faith? Where do this people fit, if God punishes those who are not a fault for the way they are, then that is not a God I would want to spend and eternity with, and I don't care what people say about God not sending you to hell, it's your choice. I didn't ask to be created either so who's fault is that?

We are supposed to try to be as forgiving as God. When you are a Christian, God will forgive you infinitely. As a Christian I try to forgive like that also. I am so sorry for you that you are obviously so hostile toward God. I sincerely hope that changes because he loves you. God Bless.

By the way, all Christians believe in Hell because the Bible teaches us that there is one and we believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God.

Only a "mean, nasty and vindictive person" could put those attributes in the same sentence with the word "God". In the Bible it says that souls will chose the path they feel they deserve or, the "right or left door" on their own. God does not want us to be mean, nasty, or vindictive throughout our lives. He gave us set of rules to follow. However, when we are on the other side, only then do we see all the mistakes we have done, and we punish ourselves accordingly.

You cannot out-forgive God. When Jesus hung on the cross, suffering for your sins and mine, His arms were outstretched....willing to embrace ALL who would receive His forgiveness. Then to PROVE that He was indeed God, He rose from the dead, breaking the power that death had over man. Now He is LONG SUFFERING, awaiting all who will come to Him.....but His love is balanced with His JUSTICE. If you reject the free gift of eternal life, disregarding that He already suffered for your sins, He will ABSOLUTELY allow you the choice of paying for those sins for yourself...but you will pay for them eternally in hell. Is that His fault that you wouldn't accept Him.....DON'T blame Him. There's nothing more that can be done! Now YOU decide!

God is loving and compassionate and forgiving. Christians are people. They are a part of an organized religion who tend to believe within a BOX. I would say most of those folks who are Christian by thier own definition or who have been saved/reborn are judgemental and hide within thier religion.........that is my personal opinion.......nothing more/nothing less.
