you dont say how old your group is but there are lots of ideas both here and in other places

some of my favorites

have the children use recycled items to make a bed and then use a rectangle shaped paper or piece of cloth to make the blanket

read goodnite moon and then make a childs own copy of the favorite pages

have the individual child or groups of children choose either to make or choose pieces of cloth to make quilts ( you can read a variety of stories about quilts beforehand to ed the children on quilts or bring some to show)

talk about and then graph what the children do before bedtime and maybe even when they get up to reinforce routines and opposites

read stories about animals and how they "sleep"
including hibernation, and then they can design their own bedrooms or create one for their favorite animals

ck out your local library or bookstores for stories related to sleeping, naps, etc to get more ideas

How about buying a paint or a stain that glows in the dark? Use it to paint stars, the moon, a nebula, a galaxy, or such. You can paint it directly onto anything- practically invisible in the light and doesn't show until it's dark.
