Okay, it's not that I like HIM, but I thik he might like ME. Either that, or he's just really mean. He always picks on me and says that I show too much emotion and calls me names and says I'm annoying and stuff, and I don't think he's really that mean, because he doesn't treat anyone else this way...here's some examples...
We were talking on YIM and here's how the beginning of the conversation went:
Matt: hi
Matt: weirdo
Emily B: ur the weirdo
Matt: u r
Emily B: no u r
Matt: u r
Matt: brb
Emily B: okay
Emily B: weirdo
Matt: bac
Matt: stupid
Emily B: okay...retard
Matt: lesbian
Emily B: gay
Matt: MAYBE...IT WAS 1 TIME
And sometimes he's not mean, he's just normal or he asks me if I know a band or something, but a few times, he's been mean to me about showing my emotions...
HELP!!!! What does it all mean???

Who knows. He may not know how to communicate that well with you. Does he have sisters? Is he close to his mom? Has he dated a lot or sticks to himself? A lot of things make up who a person is and why we are and act the way we do. So, just ask him if he's really being mean or is he kidding? It sounds a lot like kidding to me and he probably likes you but doesn't know how to react to emotions. you may have to teach him that it's ok to feel. Who knows what he's been through and how his family dynamics work. That will have a lot to do with how he reacts to certain things. So, have patience and wat and see. You have plenty of time to figure him out. Don't hurry. You are young. Good luck.

sounds like that little boy who would kick you cause he likes you. He might like you, but hes not really mature enough to really commit if thats what your looking for. A 17 year old does that to me a lot, but he has a girlfriend, so you never can be sure...ask him what he means when he's being mean.
