prom to do's?

can someone give me a scheduale for prom? like, how many months in advance should i get a date, book a hair app./nails, dress, ect.

I always Booked my appointments in advance right when i found out the date of prom.......and I always left my date up to whoever would ask me, and i would go with them, i always made it fun for myself, never rely on anyone to make it fun. Nothing will ever get done unless you do it yourself, right??
