Matthew 12:31
And so I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven

The unpardonable sin is rejecting the grace provided by the Holy Spirit which calls all men to apologize to God for their sins, and to repent.

No one knows exactly how many times God may provide this grace, so rejecting it even once is very risky, as the fallen angels can well attest.

The term would be 'blaspheming the Holy Spirit'. What it means is entirely different from what most think.
It is the Holy spirit that convicts you of sin. For non-believers that means God (the Holy Spirit) is making you feel bad (sorry, remorseful) about something you have done wrong. If you disrespect that "feeling" (for lack of a better term), (which is actually God attempting to communicate with you)-if you disrespect or disbelieve how it makes you feel, then you quench the Spirit in your life. If you continue to show no respect (blaspheme) this feeling (Spirit) then it will Leave you alone and will not bother you again. At that point, God has cut off communication with you. You will no longer feel any guilt or remorse. God has released you to do your thing. You most likely will never turn around after that point. You are unreachable even by God.

The unpardonable sin(according to what I understand it to be) is to see Christ or the Eternal Father and then deny their existance and speak out against them. Its like seeing the sun at 12 in the afternoon and saying then that the sun doesnt exist. Thats denying the Holy Spirit. Thats why Satan is where he is.

accepting Christ as Savior is the remedy for sin, when someone rejects Christ they reject the remedy. that is the unpardonable sin. it is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit draws us to Christ. when someone refuses to believe in Christ they are by their unbelief calling the Holy Spirit a liar.

Blaspheming against the Holy Spirit is when God is dealing with the heart of man, drawing him to repentance, and he refuses that Gift God is offering, so, the unpardonable sin is rejection of salvation through Jesus Christ. ie not getting your sins forgiven and dying outside of God's Grace.

An unforgivable sin is described in Mark 3 and Matthew 12. These passages involve Jesus Christ's repeated and widespread public defeat of Satan and his demons. Many readers and theologians have been confused about the true nature of this sin. As you read these verses for yourself (below), bear in mind part of the purpose of Jesus Christ's ministry was to directly confront darkness with the light of truth in a public battle of pure good versus pure evil. The only being in the universe that is more powerful than the Evil One, is God. He is the only one with enough power to bind Satan himself and forcibly dispossess him.

When one refers to the unpardonable sin, they are referring to any sin, that you do continually and without repentance, because if you keep doing something but also keep asking for forgiveness, it is not like you really want to stop doing the act.

Blasphemy of the Holy Ghost its attributing Christ's
works to Satan/demons. By doing this you are rejecting His spirit and therefore cannot enter heaven.

Failing to believe in Jesus Christ. This is the ONLY thing that sends someone to hell. We all sin. If you think you've committed the unpardonable sin as listed in Matthew, you haven't. You wouldn't care.
