How do I get from the JFK airport to the nearest greyhound station?

There is an Airport Bus service (around $10-$15) that will take you from the airport to Port Authority Bus Terminal which is located at 42nd Street and 8th Avenue.

Take the AirTrain from JFK ($5) and transfer to the E train.

Take the E train ($2) going to Manhattan, and get off at 42nd Street--Port Authority.

That's where you will find NYC's Greyhound station. Just follow the signs to Port Authority when you exit the E train.
