You can't stop it from going wrong. If it's going to go wrong, then it will go wrong, and you could end up with a broken heart, and disappointed, and in tears - all the usual stuff that you used to experience way back when you were a teenager. However don't let the worry of it going wrong stop you from having a good time with this man! Enjoy his intelligence, enjoy his humour, and wipe those worries from your mind: you've got a good thing going. What on earth could go wrong at this early stage? Be honest with him, be yourself, and you'll soon feel more secure in knowing where you stand with him.

So- basically, you're sort of scared, right?

If you ARE, just keep on going out with him, dates. The world is full of pain, and once you take a step closer to find out the truth, you'll see if it's going to turn out wrong, or good.

Hopefully, I wasn't dumb and totally answered a different question.

Look at the respect thing... does he think as much of you as u do of him... because sometimes people say what you want to hear to get their way.

Enjoy the ride... if it ends before Xmas, remember the fun u had & don't look back, if you both end up in zimmer frames in 50 years time... well, nuff said

Have a nice life

be careful. try to be honest and tell him how you feel and hope that he does the same. Take it one day at a time.
Ask him that if he feels that there is no future then to tell you sooner rather than later. No point prolonging the agony. Good Luck, you sound like you deserve some.

I don't think you can prevent something like that from happening if it was meant to happen. Just remember that the man you're waiting for will come eventually. Good luck!

Just keep doing what you were doing before. Be normal. Don't ever expect something amazing to come out of it because if he turns out to be a complete prat, you won't be so disappointed!
