I have been talking to girl online for like 5 months. She was going out with a guy, that was so controling, like he would call every 15 mins. 24/7, wouldnt let her see any of her friends, and would always check her cell for any new numbers. Then we started talking and we both fell in love with each other. She would say that she wants to be with and not him and always saying she loved me and ****. So she broke up with him. An wanted me to come see her so I did. The first 2 days i was out there was great having fun, like we were going out, then the 3 day he found out that she had another guy and came over to her house freaking out. Then the next day we talk about it and she tells me she thinks she still loves him and will always be thinkin what if with her ex. An said we should be friends. But she is making him like sign this contract said he has to change or its over. Do you think she will ever get over him? or See me other then just a friend? Any ideas what I should do?

He is controlling her...the last thing she needs right now is another relationship..be her friend..dont pressure her into anything else just now.....she will get over him when she is ready to break free.

I think this girl is not sure of what she wants. Perhaps she feels that this guy must really love her to go to so much trouble and make such a fuss over her. Thats not love. Thats control. Getting rid of guys like that is so much work that its almost easier to keep them around. Unfortunately for you, she is gonna stick it out with this bozo. You should let her go. Let her figure out what she wants to do. You don't want to be with someoe who is not sure of what she wants. It sucks but I would rather know sooner than later when I am really invested emotionally to this girl. Good luck.

Had the same thing many years ago.....he was on drugs, she left him and came to me...then he went to her and whatever, next thing she is meeting me outside work and telling me that if she doesnt go back to him he will likely end up dead through drugs....so thats what happened..she went back, they married had kids...I got on with my life... but have the memories and to this day still get a hug from her when ever she sees me...enjoy what you have had.. only she can change her life..you cant do it for her, just let her know that for a time you will be there....

i think she's caught between a rock and a hard place. she wants to leave him because he's controlling but she is afraid to because of what he might do. then she meets you and likes you...but again she is afraid of what this guy might do to her (and perhaps you). unfortunately she is in an abusive relationship...and there's only so much you can do. she has to be the one to get up and leave him. perhaps she could get a restraining order against him.

Find someone else, this girl is not independant and cannot be alone. you do not want to be hurt anyone, i hate it when people mess people around like that. Ignore her she deserves it. she is messed up and you can not do anything about it, you have power over yourself and your own life. so use it to find someone available who wants you more than anyone. Someone will.

Let her go, if she comes back, she's yours. Don't say or do anything to try to bring her back, she has to do it on her own, or it will be the same old story.
