I very much remember my first love to this day and its been 7 yrs! We both are now married and I have 2 children and he has one. I know this by word of mouth. I will never forget him. I believe it is like this with your first love! Maybe he still loves you truly? and he doesnt want to be around u! Its hard to say, but when I was with him 7 yrs ago he said he will always love me as I said the same thing. I have never loved the same way and will never love the same way as i loved him!! Good Luck1

sometimes sweetie its just how it goes, and it is what it is! I remember my first love, i was so in love with him! Everything was great then it went down the crapper, it came to the point to where i was so in love with him, but i wwas so unhappy that i had to choose between my happiness or the love that i had for this person who failed to love me back. I chose my happiness. Your first love is always going to be your first, no one can replace that. But you can definetly feel that love again with someone that you are suppose to be with. Everything happens for a reason, and this is just a way of telling you that maybe you two weren't meant to be together. Take it one day at a time, cry when you need to cry, and remember that your friends will always be there for you. You'll know when you are ready to move on. It took me about 6 months, I met someone new and started another relationship, we were together for a year and broke up because it wasn't going anywhere, and we weren't in love with each other!
Take your time and i know you want someone to be in your life because it feels more comfy, but don't rush you will only end up getting hurt in the long run!!

I've never forgotten my first love and since it's been 40 years, I know I never will. But I went on to college and married and time passed. I've had a good life but he's always been there in the pages of my memory.
Just remember that while it takes two people to have a relationship, it only takes one to call it off. Take whatever time you need but get back into doing the things you enjoy in your spare time, go out with friends, and you'll find a good guy in time. This one wasn't it!

It seems like yesterday, but in a strange way forever ago. Your first love is always the most tender of all. You learn so much about yourself and feelings. If you are younger, I'm sure the friendship you have with him will eventually come around. Guys at that age are very scattered with emotions. Know that there reasons in life we may not understand right at that moment. I encourage you to push forward and live for yourself . Eventually you find a mate that takes you to the next level of life. It's all about the lessons and what we get from them...Much luck and enjoy youth.

I easily bear in mind my previous flame. i do no longer look or attempt to make every physique into her mildew. If I could fall in love returned it's going to be because of the fact i'm drawn to that individual . She greater advantageous than in all threat might have a thoroughly distinctive visual attraction and character. as long as she is herself .that's what I care approximately. T4

My first love was when I was 15, I'm 23 now. We're still best friends but it took a few years to get all the way over him.

I truly don't believe that you ever get over your 1st love. I fell in love at the age of 16, I'm 46 now, living w/someone else. We loved each other, but it apparently was never meant to be. (we never married each other) I honestly still love him, but life goes on.

Unfortunately that is all part of loving someone.....The only time it gets any easier is when the next one comes along....Sadly unless he is replaced you will not stop hurting....Good luck, I know how it feels and believe me it never gets any easier, no matter how many times you fall in love.
