As one answerer says: "Of course Isa did not die for our sins."
BUT, of course,
Jesus (Yeshua) DID die for OUR sins!!
St. John 10:9-11, 14-17
I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, 9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
------------
And remember how He told them that He could "call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels? But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way?"
------------
>then people wrote the bible hundreds of years later
The evidence is that the books of the New Testament were written between about 50AD and 95AD ... some possibly even earlier than 50AD. Most were written by eiewitnesses or by people who knew the Apostles.
>in order to control the masses and keep them ignorant.
The Gospels were written that we "might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God ... and that by believing we might have Life throug His Name.
So, why do you say they were written after hundreds of years so that we could be kept ignorant?
----------
>by the responses of the answers im about to get,
It would seem you have been led astray by what you have read ... led astray and kept ignorant so you will not read, hear, and listen to the Truth about He Who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life .... so that by listening and believing in Him you could have Everlasting (Eternal) Life. St. John 3.

Yep. I know it. And not only did people write the books of the bible. The church hundreds of years later actually had a meeting to vote on whether or not Jesus was divine. They decided he was, I believe, for credibility, because every pharaoh previously in history was declared divine...the son of God.. Couldn't have Jesus being anything less or the church would lose credibility. Jesus did say he was the son of God, but he also said Everyone was the son of God. He never said he WAS God. People voted on that. And then they decided which books did not belong in the bible and burned every one that they could get their hands on. Don't worry, I'm sure alot of people aren't going to like my answer as much as your question, but belief, and blind faith are two different things.

Luke 22:42
saying: “Father, if you wish, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, let, not my will, but yours take place.”
He knew what was about to happen and let it happen anyway. He subjected himself to Gods will whatever it was, even if that ment getting tortured and killed. Something that Adam and Eve failed at. They followed the Devils advise and put there own will first. At the time that they did that, they were perfect and Jesus was the only other person since to be perfect. That's how he died for our sins
1 Corinthians 15:22
For just as in Adam all are dying, so also in the Christ all will be made alive.

Every book in the New Testament was written before the turn of the century, and the Old Testament was written BC.
Yeah, He was murdered if you want to look at it that way, the thing is we all killed Him, with every sin we commit; He died for our sins.

Actually he got framed, railroaded, swiftboated. He was set up, sold out and done over, for 30 pieces of silver, chicken feed.
He told me He considers it an insult.
He told me that he is still real, real ticked off about it and hates all of you.
That is why he has the phone off the hook and is not answering any prayers.

That is probably closer to the truth of how it seemed at the time.
PS
If Elizabeth is correct, doesn't that amount to suicide? Not loking to slam anyone's god, I'm just debating the details as presented.

he did not fight, but accepted crucifixation and on the cross asked for his executors to be forgiven. They beat him up a lot because he was not fighting back and he was such a popular figure. I agree with you about established religion, somewhat, but it's still possible for people to believe in Jesus's teachings separate from these institutions

Jesus was only murdered because he chose to die for our sins. He did not have to die. He could have changed the whole situation. That is why we say he died for our sins.
