Rhetorical question, I know! : ) Read it quick before it gets deleted!

To the tune of "We Gather Together"

We gather together
To ask lots of questions
We’ve posers and queries
We wish to make known
Like does our god hate us?
Will he incinerate us?
And which lucky kneelers
Will he call his own?

Just who is Ganesha?
And what did he teach ya’?
And was that guy Judas
A hero or chump?
And can you tell me, ma’am,
The pillars of Islam?
If Buddha took the middle way
Why was he so plump?

The trollish among us
Post drivel to bug us
Like “You’re All Reported!”
And “What Should I Do?”
But we do not hate them
We mostly tolerate them
(‘Cause if you report them
Then they’ll report you!)

We thank Yahoo Answers
For gathering together
The atheist, Christian,
The Muslim, the Jew
We’d never have met them,
We never will forget them
Though they raise our blood pressure
We learn from them too.

I love that! Nicely done! (It would help if I knew the tune, too, but it stands on it's own just the same.)

If I thought God didn't have a sense of humor, I would have great misgivings about my own parody of Amazing Grace...

Whether or not you parody a hymn, you will make it to heaven if you accept the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross for your sins; if you don't, you won't. The hymn has nothing to do with it. The real question, when you stand before God on Judgment Day, will not be, "Did you parody a hymn?" but "What did you do with my Son Jesus Christ?"

God understands that we have many questions in our search for the truth. He understands our doubts and fears, and He loves us in spite of them. If we truly seek the truth, He can be counted on to reveal it to us. Jesus said, "Him that cometh to me, I will in no wise cast out." Why not come to Christ, just as you are, with all your doubts, fears, confusion, etc. and ask Him to sort it all out for you, to reveal to you who He really is. His ability to clear up spiritual confusion and bring peace of mind and heart is absolutely awesome!
