Okay here is the deal. There was this hot guy that i met last week, we were checking each other out half the night. I thought he was goin to come and talk to me, and i think he was going to but i might have beat him to it. When i was leaving he was outside by himself so i took the opportunity to go talk to him. We chatted for a bit then when we went to go our seperate ways, they all invited me out to hang with them, so i went we just casually watched a movie and we talked and sat on the couch. He walked me out to my car and asked for my number, i haven't heard from him yet, don't know if I will.
But the question is Why do you guys ask for a number if yuu don't plan on calling? Or if you plan to call why don't you??

guys will wait as to not seem too eager. If he doesn't call its because he is involved with someone else....rent the movie "swingers" for more insight...its pretty much right on.

Well I must admit that I am guilty of doing that a few times. I usually got a number as a way of knowing I was able to get it. If I get a girl's number without having spent much time with her, I won't be likely to call because I don't want to have a boring conversation with long awkward pauses because nether of us have much to talk about.

To be honest. I think that in the heat of the moment he intended to call you but after sleeping on it he had second thoughts. It takes courage to make that call. Men are not usually good communicators anyway. I am a guy and the same thing happened to me a couples weeks ago. I didn't call. But she did. We are dating now. See if you can get his number and call him.

Because it seems to be an awkward situation to some men to admit to your face -by not asking you for your number- that they didn't really like you after all. Therefore, we ask for it, and not call later. That way, you get the message, and we didn't have to let you know to your face, we were all gentlemanly and stuff and asked you for your number.

We would usually ask for the number because we intend to call
Maybe he hasn't called because he is having second thoughts or just hasn't got round to calling yet......maybe you need to be patient

He might have just been trying to be nice.I mean,if u he thought you were a nice person and all and didnt want to seem like an ***,he might have jut asked for it to make you feel like he actaull liked you.

We do it so you get your panties in a wad over us. You pretty much threw yourself at him. If he didn't have to work for it, it won't mean anything to him. Maybe he lost it, maybe he forgot you. Maybe he has a girlfriend.
