"Vin De Pays D'Oc" a merlot/cabernet sauvingnon mix. I had never had a mixed wine before, but this was exceptional. We had the 2005 vintage, which tasted much better than expected. Espically since it was under $25.

By the way the vinyard is "les vignerons de roquemaure."

In New York state, there is a new winery called Cobblestone Winery in Romulus, NY on Cayuga Luke. Their Golden Eagle and Cherry wines were the most incredible I have ever tasted!

Also, Goose Watch winery in Ovid, NY has awesome wines as well. Their Finale Port is exquisit!

I recommend you look their websites and order some. You will not be sorry!

I tried a weird one the other day. It was a Bordeaux by Mouton Cadet. The first sip tasted really strong like flowers and I didnt like it at all. It said it was a mix of 65% Merlot, 20% Cabernet and 15% Cabernet Franc. As I drank it though my taste buds adjusted and I ended up enjoying it because it was so different.

Last night I tried a white table wine from California called Conundrum...it's called that because it is kind of a like a chablis, kind of like a pinot grigio, kind of like a chardonnay, kind of like a sauvignon blanc all rolled into one...

It was very good, but kind of expensive (the bottle was $59 at the restaurant, and I understand it is about $20 in a liquor store), so I probably won't have it again any time soon, but it was very good!

i was surprised at my first attempt at making wine..i made it with white grapes and peaches ..after the long wait while it fermented for about 2 weeks i moved it into another container for a secondary fermenting process for nearly a month.. but the wait was worth it ..tasted really good!!. I now have 5 gallons of it ..and knowing i made it myself..gives me more satisfaction

There is a Turkish Kavaklidere red wine called Yakut. It is very good! But you will have to find a Turkish restaurant and ask for it.
