I put basil in my campbells tomato soup once and it tasted disgusting.

I don't consider Basil a primary seasoning, but more a complimentary one like White Pepper. I usually add some to my spaghetti sauce while its cooking towards the end if I want a slight sweetness to it, after I've added the Italian seasoning.

Glad I'm not the only one who like fitness but thinks about hunger cravings before exercise.But I've been in the mood for a banana split w/ chocolate, and caramel. A bit of whipped cream maybe even some nuts. Mmmm.:)

i love basil on chicken. on my criuse they put basil on ice cream and it accually tastes pretty good. i have never tried it on cookies though

fresh basil or dried is best in salads, with fresh cheese like mozzarella, tomatoes and dribbled with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. It is also rally good on pastas or chicken, and fish

Well it wont go with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Whole wheat bread, all natural peanut butter( i reccomend smart balance)and then cold fresh crushed blueberrys. basil prob wont go good.
