I know that Heaven is actually nothing like we can imagine. God willing, our souls will reach heaven, but the experience of a soul is completely different from an experience of the body. We will not suffer from hunger for example. But what of the deliciousness of food? Will there be anything like the taste of a freshly grilled to perfection steak?

Give me your thoughts!

(Disclaimer: this is not a serious question. Please do not try to convince to give up my gluttonous way, or something similar).

There is a song out by Mercy Me.

It is called "I can only imagine"

That pretty much sums up how I wonder what it will be like also.

It is a powerful song and speaks to so many of us who just want a little glimpse of what it will be like, but know that even a little glimpse would make us
"hate"
being here for a moment longer.

Was like ugh how lame until I saw disclaimer. Anyways my heaven would be a place of perfect understanding of everything in the universe, where I have complete control of all my actions. I would be able to converse with others on a level beyond normal communication, and everything would be extremely fast. I'd be able to travel through time, and see all my dead relatives and friends (without physical bodies ofcourse).

Hi, I am Muslim and I assume you are too.

I do think about Paradise sometimes. But honestly, I want to be surprised. I really dont want to know too much--because I want it to be a complete surprise. Someone sent me an email of hadith describing Paradise, and I didnt read it.

Life has been vety hard for me, and it seems like struggle never ends. So, when it is all over, and if Allah is pleased with me--I want to get my reward of things that I could never imagine :)

Sorry but I have never wonder what heaven or hell is like. Even as a child grown in catholic religion. My life has ever been a hell of hate and I have hope then when I die it won't be worse.

[2:112] And they say. 'None shall ever enter Heaven unless he be a Jew or a Christian.' These are their vain desires. Say, 'Produce your proof, if you are truthful.'

[3:186] Every soul shall taste of death. And you shall be paid in full your rewards only on the Day of Resurrection. So whosoever is removed away from the Fire and is made to enter Heaven has indeed attained his goal. And the life of this world is nothing but an illusory enjoyment.

7:44] And We shall remove whatever rancour may be in their hearts. Beneath them shall flow rivers. And they shall say, 'All praise belongs to God who has guided us to this paradise. And we could not have found guidance, if God had not guided us. The Messengers of our Lord did indeed bring the truth.' And it shall be proclaimed unto them, 'This is the heaven to which you have been made heirs as a reward for what you did.'

[7:45] And the inmates of Heaven will call out to the inmates of Hell, saying, 'We have indeed found what our Lord promised us to be true. Have you also found what your Lord promised you to be true?' They shall say, 'Yea!' Then a proclaimer shall proclaim between them, saying, 'The curse of God is on the wrongdoers -

[7:51] And the inmates of the Fire will call out to the inmates of Heaven. 'Pour out on us some water or some of that which God has provided for you.' They will say, 'Verily, God has forbidden them both to disbelievers,

[7:44] And We shall remove whatever rancour may be in their hearts.

[29:59] And those who believe and do righteous deeds - them shall We, surely, house in lofty mansions of Paradise, beneath which streams flow. They will abide therein. Excellent is the reward of those who labour for good,
