Yes they are all legal,your roomates are at risk if the police find anything illegal and in most states you violated probation or parole just by being in the illegal items presence.

With permission of thier parole or probation officer, ( police will have to ok it with them, or they parole or probation officer will have to order it.
But they can be questioned, be drug tested, have thier car or home searched. As long as your room mates are not doing anything illegal it don't matter.
If your roomate have an illegal item, or a firearm that is not secured, you will be in violation.

I believe all parolees are subject to search but for probationers, it would be a term of your probation, specified during your sentencing. I work in the records unit of my local police dept (in California) and not all probationers have a search and seizure clause. Officers will try to find other reasons for a legal search.... e.g. other probationers/parolees in the residence or in your company that have the search clause. That also puts others in your presence at risk for searches.

all searches are legal, but they can only search your sleeping area and all common areas of the house so the kitchen the living room bathrooms are all fair game

That means they can search your roommates stuff too. They can search ANYWHERE in the house, and if your roomies have weed or something they can get YOU in trouble, even if it's not yours.
