You have the right to be upset... i think if he really did care about your feelings he'd take you to meet his family.. you should really talk to him, if he doesn't already know how you feel, two years and he hasn't taken you to his family on the holidays. thats where you draw the line and ask him what he wants in your relationship... If he still can't take you to the family then it should be about time you find a man that can....

Star, something is not right here. You have been living together, and you haven't been to the family holdiay get togethers. No, sweetie rather your boyfriend is embarassed or not, it's time to meet and greet the family. You definietly don't deserve to left home alone for the holidays, that's very sad. My heart just breaks.
Maybe he's ashamed of them or something. I mean, do they know about you or are you a secret? I want to know the people in my children's lives, and I know I embarrass them sometimes, but I don't mean to-well not all the time! Is he afraid they are going to run you off? Is Uncle Fred really that bad? Aunt Martha can get drunk and do a strip tease with you there. No one's family is perfect, we all have our flaws, but you need to know these people-and they need to know you.
Tell him you won't listen to the embarrassing stories about when he was a kid and still pooped his pants at age 6. Or that he done some other stupid things in his life, whatever he did or did not do made him the person he is today. And from what you living with him for the last 2 years that must be a very special person. So, I would tell him that I was going for Christmas, that I am not sitting home alone again. That you will put cotton in your ears, and that you would never ever repeat anything you hear! and keep the promise.
God bless us all...............

I suspect he's trying to protect you from something. You need to have an open discussion about this, and I don't mean having the same old conversation over again. Ask him what it is that's so embarassing. (Seriously, you live with the guy. You have seen his dirty underwear and his secret stash of Vanilla Ice tapes. How much more embarassing can his family be?) It may turn out that there's something else going on with his family that he wants to keep from you.

Oh now that is just wrong!
Tell him that you are seriously hurt during the holidays when he won't take you and you don't give a rat's behind how embarrassing they are, at least they are there!

He should be sincere and take you along with him especially since you have no family. You have every right to be upset. He needs to be a man and quit making excuses. Embarrassment is no excuse. HOpe I helped.

Let him know how you feel. He won't know how you feel about the situation until you tell him. We all have our little family embarrassments, but if he is serious about being in a relationship with you, you eventually have to see his crazy family in action.
