Well, you can't force others to love you when they don't even feel anything for you in the first place. You should also give other guys a chance to prove to you that they can be as great as the guys. But you have to face the facts that everybody is different so you can simply put your standard on others.

yeah, i can relate. well, the advice that you should follow is just be yourself but if you can't get that through your mind and you want to do something then, you could act a little older. put only a little bit of makeup. don't cake it on your face. just like, black lashes and juicy looking lip gloss and maybe be a LITTLE sexy...don't over do it. don't act like a sister would to him, act like someone who is interested in him. Maybe after that, you can chose next time if you want to be yourself or if you want to try be something else. You have to learn things the hard way sometimes.

Find someone your own age. An older guy paying attention to you may make you feel special, but romantically, he's naturally going to be attracted to girls his own age.

i am going through the same thing, ive known him forever and just now decided i liked him...alot..... but i would rather stay friends with him because if it doesnt work out it will never be the same between us
