I'm in a long-distance relationship and from the looks of things, there are three important factors that you should know. The first thing is Trust which is considered the most important of them all. The second is knowing the person which helps you when it comes to finding out interests that your girlfriend has. And the third thing is being proper for when it comes to a girlfriend and a relationship, the most important thing is that being proper helps makes things work.

A lot of independence and the ability to get through the days alone. A good webcam and internet connection are a must, too! Diversions can help, things like hobbies, volunteer work, etc. Find something to do to fill in the hours until you can see your sweetie again.
