I feel it is no longer the way G-d answers prayer. He can, of course if He wants to. He may do this to a very new baby Christian.
If you have matured in your walk, you do not need a sign. You need the Holy Spirit. He will guide you in all righteousness. He will lead you to the right answers. Understand His role. Perhaps you need to pray for a greater measure of the Holy Spirit.
Blessings!
David

Jesus said that it was a wicked generation that seeks after a sign.
Understand, that the Jews had signs and wonders all the time through the wilderness, yet they refused to believe.
The miracles that Jesus perfomed were signs and wonders, yet the Jews rejected Him.
Signs and wonders are not Faith. If you believe that you have heard from God, then go for it. If you have heard nothing, then wait upon the Lord.

People all over the world ask for a sign from God, but personally, I think the only "sign" we're gonna get is our own conscience. Many people see "signs" in everything, which I find highly doubtful. For me, the signs I believe in are the prophecies which are coming true before our eyes.

Usually the sign that God will give a believer is through confirmation of the Word, either through reading it or by the preaching of it. Sometimes another believer (or sometimes He uses unbelievers as well) will confirm or mention something that God has already placed upon our hearts that we aren't 100% sure of if it came from Him or from ourselves. If you are talking other kinds of signs, I highly doubt it; God says"a wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign, and there shall be NO sign given them..."

You can't ask God for a sign to prove his existance. When you ask him you have to firmly believe that what you ask will become true.
Ask yourself this: Would you be surprised if what you asked for became true, or would you expect it to happen?
Furthermore, God obviously won't fulfill detrimental wishes. Like you can't just wish for a hooker and presto, one walks around the corner... only maybe not in such an extreme, so look at what you ask for carefully, is it really something good?

Well The bible tells us not to put the Lord God to the test. I think praying continually and waiting on Him- and asking Him to reveal to you what His will is, is the best way to pray- And to wait on Him- pray to him with all your heart- He knows when you are desperate for Him. And He will answer. It may not be what you want to hear- but it will be His will and that is a million times better!
Matthew 4:7
Jesus answered him, "It is also written: 'Do not put the Lord your God to the test.' "
Matthew 7:7
[ Ask, Seek, Knock ] "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
-But this means to ask in JESUS' name. God gives those according to his purpose and glory- and whatever God gives is better than anything else you could imagine! Praise be to Him~
Many times God wants us to have what we want! He knows our needs and He takes care of us!
Matthew 6:26
Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

I think I know what you are asking, but the language barrier makes it rough!
You will be able to trust the sign that you believe you got from God IF it can be backed according to your Scripture. Remember that the devil tells 95% truth and 5% lie.

God answers in different ways. My daughter prayed for her doubles team to win.Shortly after there was a swarm of bees flying across her side of the court and she believes it was a sign that they would win. Guess what? They did winthe tennis match.

I am not 100% certain what it is you are asking about but I think you are asking about testing God to see if He will answer. To that I would say that God is not to be tested. He is simply to be believed.
