PLEASE READ THIS:
*Theory: is an assumption based on facts
*Take a side: science or religion.... That means for example you can't say that god did this and science proves it too...
*Don't get offended since this is not meant to offfend anyone. This is not a question about your religion it is about what YOU believe.
*Please don't go all spiritual on me... Stick to the question.
*I believe in god. Just which god I believe in, I am not telling so answer freely.
*PEOPLE OF ALL RELIGIONS AND FAITHS (OR PPL WHO DON"T BELIEVE IN GOD) ARE ENCOURAGED TO ANSWER!!!

Nondescript: Hello! Why don't you go learn something before you tell me? First I am a A+ student and i am majoring in a field of science so excuse you! and then my mother is a science proffessor in college. so excuse you again! and then the major blow the definition of theory is "the analysis of a set of facts in their relation to one another" so NEXT TIME CHECK YOUR FACTS WHEN YOU MAKE A COMMENT

No, it's simple, something can;t come from nothing. It's like pointing to nothing and saying that eventually a monkey is going to appear. They say that we came from a giant piece of matter exploding or a monkey , but where did that come from? They tell you nothing, but something can't come from nothing!

Evolution and the big bang theory,
Why - Because the scientific method clearly demonstrates evolution, the only contradiction is a 2000 year old book. It is the most hated theory of all time, so many people would love to prove it wrong (that includes scientists as well as christians, imagine how famous they'd become) and it has been under attack since day one, but its still possibly the most strongly supported scientific theory of all time, the entire of biology rests on darwinian evolution, without it there was just natural history.
As for the big bang theory, I believe stephen hawking (and roger penrose?) proved mathematically that if the currently observed expansion of the universe and cosmic background radiation are extrapolated back in time, the universe must have begun with a singularity (I can't remeber the entire base of the theory, but it involved imaginary time, and a shift of one dimension from space to time)

Anyone who studies Big Bang Theory with an open mind and looks at all the evidence really can't come away with the idea that anything else happened. Scientists don't know WHAT blew up or WHY it blew up, but it's pretty much an undeniable fact nowadays that something did. They have the evidence to prove this. If there's an alternate theory that matches all the observations and calculations that have been made so far, then I'd really like to hear it.
Same thing for evolution. The point is that species evolved. Where the first organism came from is a question that as far as I know is still up in the air, but no mainstream non-Christian scientist will tell you that animals haven't (and are not) evolving. Again, if it's not true, then why not, and what's the alternative theory? "Intelligent Design" doesn't cut it because for many reasons, life HASN'T been intelligently designed -- just look at all the extinct animals and useless body parts in many species.
It confuses me why the theists don't just stop arguing against science and insert their deities of choice into those two obvious locations. Like I said, scientists still don't know what started the Big Bang and they don't know where the first organism came from. So, there, you can easily say that God kickstarted the Big Bang and kickstarted the evolution process -- you're not fighting hopelessly against scientific fact, and you've got a theory that so far hasn't been proven wrong yet.

ok, i'm going to bypass undemanding on you on the grounds which you're in basic terms 13. before everything, there's a brilliant bang thought, and there is an evolution thought. the two are thoroughly unrelated, different than that the 1st is needed for the 2d to ensue. can not infrequently have issues evolving if the universe by no ability banged, precise? 2d, this is >obtainable< that some 'god', for loss of a greater robust term, began each thing off, and then in basic terms stepped aside to enable issues take their path. obtainable, yet not needed. in basic terms sayin'. 0.33, there is not any data that any god exists, neither is there any disproof, and there by no ability would be any. The bible would not prepare something, different than that a protracted time in the past some men wrote down some stuff and it have been given amassed into one e book that some human beings take as scripture. ultimately, technological information could be depended on. in case you recognize the medical technique, it somewhat is self glaring that it somewhat is infallible while correct used, and while improperly used, the blunders is quickly stumbled on with the aid of rival scientists. whether, no area of ANY medical thought says "....and as a result, no god exists." technological information deals in basic terms with the organic international, and the supernatural is left to religionists to argue approximately. one difficulty greater - thank you lots for worrying on the subject of the final option spelling and grammar. it somewhat is an rather uncommon high quality at present (in basic terms take a seem at particularly some the posts in this internet site), and a brilliant style of human beings do get exhilaration from it.

I believe that complex life forms (like us) are way too complicated to have developed purely by evolution. If you study all the mechanical, chemical, thermal, and biological processes necessary for us to live our lives, it seems ridiculous to think that it all developed step-by-step through millions of accidental genetic changes. From a single cell live creature to a human being through a bunch of accidents? I don't think so...
So I do not believe that evolution could have done it. It may well be part of the process, and be responsible for change within a species. But anything beyond that looks more like it was designed. So I believe in Intelligent Design by God.
Same with the Universe. It all works nicely, even though it is also incredibly complex. It works like it was planned.
There may have been a Big Bang. But something had to be there first in order to go Bang! Where did that stuff come from?
Good Luck

My belief has been excluded,
As it IS a combination that GOD did whatever GOD did, and humans are slowly getting smart enough to learn a few of the laws GOD used in doing what GOD did to make everything.
So I can't participate.
P.S. look at human lore, and stories. Humans believed them, then slowly learned and accepted the science that replaced the lore/myths. Now humans have more science than myths/lore. Also humans are not burning and looting everything - so we are retaining prior knowledge and not reinventing the wheel, from the dust of a concurring army.
Or turning Greek math masterpieces into prayer books. (Ever see that TV show? Wow.)
Maybe I can participate in your next question?:)

Evolution: scientific evidence is present.
Big bang: scientific evidence is present.
I will not take a side on religion vs. science regarding the big bang since we cannot peer back before Planck time. Science cannot work back to the beginning of time.

i believe that human beings did indeed evolve from lower primates. to deny this would be illogical. the scientific evidence is overwhelming. i also believe in the process or concept of evolution as it applies to all forms of life.
evolution is not necessarily about betterment, but rather about adaption. living beings exist in kinetic and dynamic environments. to say we do not evolve to meet ever an changing environment is just plain stupid.
as far as the big bang is concerned, that is a totally different idea. i do believe that the universe as we know it began from some eventy as such...but, the verdict is out as to how many universes exist and as to why this all happened in the first place. that is what the spiritual realm seeks to answer and where the realm of science and spirituality seem to find some common ground...

A scientist does not "believe" in evolution or the big bang. A scientist accepts a theory.
I accept evolution. I also accept big bang. On both accounts, I'm not nearly as educated or knowledgeable as the experts, so I simply accept that the near unanimous opinion of biologists and cosmologists is sound for evolution and the big bang, respectively.

Evolution is explainable and provable. It occurs now across species. Creationism cannot not be rationally explained. Nor can religion for that matter. It's a belief. Like the belief in fate, deja vu, or anything else for that matter.
For instance. Who created God then? (take your pick of which god)

Science and Religion are both two sides of the same coin. Every time one tries to understand one theory with respect to another, he/she undergoes evolution...that applies to big bang also.
