Just a thought. Break up with him. And the magic of breaking up is you don't have to talk to him anymore if he calls or messages. Voila. You're rid of him.

don't call him anymore, don't answer the phone when he calls, and don't answer your door if he comes over...he'll get the hint or just tell him you on't want to be gf and bf anymore
