I need to know a story about the youngest child to ever commit suicide or just a young child that has or wanted to commit suicide... preferably the age ranging from 1-12 years of age. Please, I need this for a project. And also, background information would be good too!

I don't know but I do know that when I was 10 I was seriosly thinking about commiting suicide because of my parents drug/alchole addiction. My brother told me maney of times last year when he was 9 that he wanted to die, but I don't think he was seriose. My friend went to one of those house things because she threatened to commit suside when she was like 9 or 10, because the DHS was taking away her mom.

The name is'nt told but on record the youngest child to commit suicide was a six year old girl her rasons was that she was facing loss and pain !!! But you'll find more information if you search google for a book named Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

The youngest appears to be six years old, from Maryland.
In Nassau, the youngest suicide was ten years old.

Thats a sad question, i heard of a 12 year old once but i dont know the deails. Good luck with the project it sounds like a eye opener.

I have distance cousin who was playing hide-go-seek and hide in a stand up freezer and smothered. He was around six.
