...then why not come to church and find out for yourself? There are friendly Christian congregations almost everywhere!

Church is about worshipping God, not judging other people. No one is perfect; so no one is "better" than anyone else. But by God's awesome love and Jesus' resurrection, anyone can be forgiven and healed.

A church fellowship is also about building strong communities, connecting with neighbors, and making new friends. In addition to regular Saturday or Sunday worship, most churches offer extra worship services, Bible-study groups, community service, volunteer opportunities, outreach programs, coffee-and-chat groups, and other activities throughout the week.

Think church isn't for you? Remember, to gain the real treasures--peace, joy, freedom, happiness, fulfillment, and eternal life--we must go where they can be found, and seek them with persistence and patience.

Won't you join us in worship this week?

Your right and you reminded me to thank God for my Church. It is all you said it should be. My life is so enhanced because of it.

I've been to several churches. I was raised a Christian, even. Don't assume that we're atheists out of ignorance. In fact, most atheists I know have a better understanding of Christianity than most Christians do.

And the Church is not about worshipping God. It is about getting more members through emotional manipulation of human insecurities. One way they do this is first making you feel like scum for not being perfect, then saying that if you cowtow to their martyred prophet wannabee, it will remove that guilt. It's a self-licking ice cream cone.

Notice how in all of your promotion of church, you basically tried to use emotional pulls to get people to go to the indoctrination. Sad.

I'm not Christian, so I don't go to church (yours or another). Besides, I don't need forgiveness. I know that sooner or later I'm gonna pay for what I did wrong in my life and no church/priest/god can just "forgive me if I believe". I'm already at peace with myself and my life, joyful, free, happy and fulfilled in my own religion. As for eternal life, the Gods will grant me that once I've learned everything there is to learn from living on this Earth.
Blessed be! )O(

But I enjoy judging other people. And I am perfect; so the whole no one is "better" than anyone else crap doesn't apply to me. But by God's awesome love and Jesus' resurrection, anyone can be forgiven and healed, except I don't need to be healed. Piss off.

:D

I beleive in Christianity not for only I was brought up that way, not because people find hope and such from the bible, but scientific evidence that I would be tired to write out in this page, It would take to long.

Zounds man! Think you not that the people who partake of this forum have some experience in this establishment? I think it quite true. For you to assume otherwise smacks of presumptuousness, I daresay!
