That depends on the real name and the nickname. I know a woman whose name is Ella Mae, but everyone calls her Cookie. In her case, I would probably just put an initial. That might be best for everyone. A big J for Jones or S for Smith. Or, in the case of Jess and Angie, J for Jessica and A for Angela.

I think you should use there full name if it's a very serious or special gift and use their nickname for something not as important or fun or even just to make them feel special. I say use their nicknames for this gift because then they will remember it's from you and they can think of you.

You should put their real names on it or if you want to make it more meaningful then you should put the nickname down. Or even better just do initials. That will be a lot better.

I think if it was a personal nic-name just between you to use it, but if it is a nic-name that everyone calls them then I would use their whole name. Jewelry boxes are a nice idea. Be Happy!

i think of Madelyn in view which you could call her Maddie as a nickname and that i'm particular her buddies will to. yet sure, maximum names that lead to a y or ie are many times names for sons and daughters or infants, they do no longer likely extra healthful them for whilst tey are adults, names like Lily, suzie, Rosey. U recognize names like that. i in my view love the call Maddie yet i think of it suites extra useful for a nick call! wish I helped and that i did no longer offend u or something!
