All Purpose flour will be fine. Just sift it really well. Cake Flour is a finer milled flour. The difference between cake and all purpose flour texture is like the difference between granulated sugar and powdered sugar, just not so extreme.
If you do not sift it well, it will not blend as thoroughly or rise as it should, it will rise though.

Cake flour will make your cake fluffier here is a recipe to make your own:
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup cornstarch
To make two cups of cake-and-pastry flour (cake flour), combine 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour with 1/4 cup cornstarch; proceed with your recipe.
The easiest way to do this substitution is to put 2 tbsp of cornstarch in the bottom of a 1-cup measuring cup, then fill the cup as usual with all-purpose flour and level top.
If you only need 1/2 cup of cake flour, put 1 tbsp cornstarch in bottom of 1/2 cup measuring cup, then fill and level as above.

You COULD use AP flour but you would have to add a certain amount of baking soda and baking powder and maybe even some cornstarch and sugar. It would have to be specific but I would just go for the good old cake flour.

All purpose flour will work, but cake flour is finer and more "fluffy" if you have a flour sifter, sift the AP flour several times first, but otherwise, you can use it, it will be ok

all purpose will be ok but you wont get as much of a rich taste as cake flour. I'd recommend cake but...it should be ok.

What the F**k is cake flour anyway?
You may need "self raising" flour, but if you don't have any, you can add some raising agent.
