I thought this is a learn and share site! I hope people will just know how to respect each other even on the internet!

It's sad. This site could be a great place for an open and respectful exchange of ideas, yet there are those who abuse it with pornographic avatars, etc...
It would be nice if Yahoo could ban these people for good, preventing them from using different ID's.

Unfortunately, it's an honor system, basically.
When anyone chooses to post here they are agreeing to abide by the Community guidleines, whether they bother to read them or not. This agreement is implicit in the use of Yahoo answers.
Since this is not a moderated place, it's up to us to police our own.
So, when people are too offensive, report them.

most of you here know by now ( I really hope ) try to answer questions as accurately and honestly as I can. have said many times that we who are tolerant must be tolerant of those who are not but I am getting really tired of some of the reprehensible conduct here. there are Ladies and Gentlemen here who are trying to learn and think we deserve some respect.
