As many of you know, I had set up a website to find homes for the street cats in my neighborhood. I took a number of months off work for the project (I'm also paying for them all to be desexed, vaccinated etc)...I have to move overseas in 2 weeks. On Thursday Yahoo shut the site down and took all my emails from me, of course, including all those from potential adopters. It worked out ok for me as I discovered godaddy (which is much cheaper) but now there are many cats that won't be able to get into homes. Do you agree with yahoo taking all emails directed to a charitable website aimed at re-homing stray cats? It had no advertising etc. and the cats weren't "for sale".
Thanks

no, I don't agree with the policy, you paid for the website right? Even with a free one that yahoo offers, it's charity, people use websites for businesses all the time, services they get paid for and you are only finding homes at no cost to adoptees. It's amazing that yahoo even had "adult" websites that people put nasty stuff on yet they pick on something like this. TSK TSK, shame on it.

NO! That's completely wrong! Those cats were about to get a home and you were helping and doing a service! Yahoo shouldn't be able to take all the emails from you.

I hope you can find homes for your cats!

Just how many accounts are you planning on getting?

How is all the nonsense here helping cats?

Don't. Spam.

'Terms of Service' &c are not _that_ much of a mystery. After getting more than one account closed, they should be pretty clear.

Not that hard. I mean, it sure as #$(@ isn't helping the cats in the end, is it?

And now you're repeatedly posting. This is THEIR site not yours, and you need to play by THEIR rules. You are not being honest about the policy you violated.
