I believe all the fallen angels identify with Lucifer also, if my memory of the Bible is correct.

Your question just made me recognise something. If light can be equated to knowledge (which it often is) and lucifer is the bringer of light, is it this fact that the church objected to?
The church, for almost 2000 years has deliberately withheld knowledge and learning from the masses in order to keep them subservient (they don't have to now, christians seem to be voluntarily subservient and keep themselves ignorant). If someone brougt light into the lives of the uneducated, they would be working against the church, and therefore considered evil

It's a play on words. He was the bringer of light. But became the opposite of God. In any event he is a symbol of evil now. It's all just a story not really true.

I have news for you! Lucifer was just the 'most stupendous angel', and he was not the 'fallen angel' that is higher the Michael and rebelled against God, just one of his followers who became worse then his master. He wished he was! All ORIGINAL Archangelnames end with EL, meaning POWER. Lucifer does not end with EL!
Satan was indead archangel ISRAEL, the firstborn of the octruplets of archangel. But he was also Salomon! That is what it is all about 'ADULTERY/using women'...
Having MORE then 1 wife/man is adultery, and for the Mormons to claim that JOHN THE BAPTIST told them to start this religion is a big joke. John was beheadet because he was AGAINST adultery... makes you think ...doesnt it?

and do you understand that Lucifer lost that status when he rebeled against God. If you are identifying with him you are identifying with Satan, who Lucifer is now, and i don't have to tell you what that means, do I?

jesus was lucifer in some texts as well. but the whole story is as ancient as the human race. the sumerians had stories of someone who took pity on humans and gave them knowledge and civilization, his name was enki.....the greeks had the story of prometheus who stole fire and knowledge from the gods and was punished by being chained to a rock where a vulture would peck out his liver...and since prometheus was immortal, his liver would grow back, so the vulture could peck it out again and again and again

As he is a fallen angel, he is no longer a bringer of light. He lost is chance and will never redeem himself.
