it seems to hurt more when hes been singing. its not there all the time and its not a hurtfull pain just an annoying one.. has anyone experienced this or cud they giv me a few tips on wot this could be its beginning to worry him

It sounds like he may have damaged his vocal chords or a vein. He needs to stop singing for a while til it heals, then see a vocal coach to learn how to manipulate his voice without damaging his throat.

I never heard of anything like that. But when singers get sore throats they drink tea with lemon juice in it. I also drink that when I have a sore throat, it really helps.

I would take him to the dr.. asap and get that chekced out. It is known fact that singers are more likley to get laryngeal cancer than anyone else sinec they sing..

It could be a node on his vocal cords, he needs to see a specialist ENT surgeon ASAP otherwise he could end up with no singing voice...;

Take him to the doctor...it could be serious; even if it's not, prevention is the best medicine.
