If you were dating a woman and she has this little rule about waiting at least a month before becoming intimate...could you do it? In my opinion, if you are really into her and your not with her just for sex then it shouldn't be a problem right? I just feel that it is really important to get to know the person I give my body to them. What do you think guys?

hmmmmm it depends on the 2 of you. there are times when the chemistry is so strong that you just cant help yourself.... but yes, it doesnt hurt to wait a while.

I am 53 and at my age most women don't wait. There is no point. We are not in high school. Sex is just fun. But if I dated a woman and it was something she wanted to do I would respect that. Trouble is I just put a few feelers out and I must have got a hundred women. I dated six of them. One did nothing and went home after a kiss the others all had sex. I am with one of them now and I will be soon terminating the rest. I did not judge them one way or another but the woman who held out was droped because I already had an almost sexless relationship in my marriage of 18 years.Turned out my ex was gay. So I can't waste time with a woman who has a problem with sex. At my age nobodys getting pregnant and we know if we have an STD and will admit it. We don't want to die.So the rest is elementary. If you are thinking a mature man is 30 then that is a different scenario.

He only has to wait 30 days? Wow- on average, that's only about 5-8 dates.. which adds up to about 40-50 hours of in-person time together (excluding phone/text). I thought you were going to say wait 6-12 months, until you're in a serious, exclusive, emotionally trusting relationship where you've talked about birth control, diseases, STD's, the future of your relaltionship, etc. That takes longer than 30 days, don't you think? Men- real men- who truly respect you and want the best for you emotionally, mentally, physically, will wait- until marriage if you say so.

I could wait a month to have sex with her. In the meantime I'd just have sex on the side with other women while waiting.

Greetings!

When a person makes sex a priority in a relationship, then obviously the priority is sex.
You are right to want, and I hope you understand that you deserve more.
If it is a problem for someone, then that someone is not right for you.
Are they implying that the only thing available for you to give them is your body?
Sort of gross, most people have more to offer than that.

Good Luck

I'm not a mature man, but ... I would say they would wait if they cared about you. Be careful, because if you told the men that it would be a month, they may wait out the month just to get laid.

If I was interested in the woman I'd be willing to wait. I don't think a month is really that long.

I think you shouldn't give a specific time period. You meet a guy and already you're thinking about not sleeping with him? You're getting to far ahead of yourself. How about sleeping with a guy when you're ready? Period. You're putting every man in the same category & that's not fair to the good ones.
