i know tha sikhs arnt supposed to. is it the same for hindus too?

in practice, it depends on your caste and on your area of India. usually, Brahmans from states such as UP or Bihar are pure veg, while bengali brahmans do eat fish. it varies on your region. ideally, however, hindus should not eat meat at all. most ppl think its acceptable for certain castes to eat certain meats, but your supposed to strive for the no-meat deal.......

Sikhs aren't supposed to.
Hindus aren't forbidden from eating Halal meat. However, some Hindus tend to frown upon eating meat in general.

Most Hindus are vegetarians as they have Gods that are animals.The ones that do eat meat,eat any type of meat.
