Where in the New Tesament does Jesus expand upon "Thou shall not kill" into something like 'You shouldn't even get angry, because anger is what leads us to kill.'?

Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. Matthew 5:21,22 Hope that helped, that's the only thing I could think of regarding your question

Use a concordance...Strong's will work. He summed up the 10 commandments down to 2, love God with all you have and love your neighbor as you love yourself. He does mention killing, for He said he will return with a sword

I'm not sure but I do know it says basically thinking it is the same as doing it.
