He didn't give us beer, he gave us the ingredients. Humans used these ingredients to make the wrong thing.
I like beer...but I don't believe it was created by god for the reason we drink it!

Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy. That's what Benjamin Franklin said. He forgot to mention vodka, though.

Dear friend, man also made guns, and torture devices and lots of lies etc, none of which God is responsible for. As far as beer, Jesus made 'wine' which is used in the bible also to describe a grape juice made from concentrate (they didn't have fridges back then, but dehydrated the juice). So Jesus made punch. Grape juice is definently good for the heart, and intellect and body, but not so with alcohol. The bible is quite clear about alcohol and the negative effects of it on the conscience and judgement, both of which are paramount for any type of thinking, especially deep spiritual thinking. Read some of the following verses if you would be wise both in life and spirit. Pro 20:1 Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise. Prov 23:29-35 Who hath woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who hath babbling? who hath wounds without cause? who hath redness of eyes? They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine. Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright. At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder. Thine eyes shall behold strange women, and thine heart shall utter perverse things. Yea, thou shalt be as he that lieth down in the midst of the sea, or as he that lieth upon the top of a mast. They have stricken me, shalt thou say, and I was not sick; they have beaten me, and I felt it not: when shall I awake? I will seek it yet again. Jesus himself did not take wine to dull his pain on the cross. Mark 15:22 And they bring him unto the place Golgotha, which is, being interpreted, The place of a skull. 23 And they gave him to drink wine mingled with myrrh: but he received it not.
