I would say that a well-groomed woman would probably want to date a well-groomed man. A woman who doesn't care about her looks probably doesn't care what her man looks like. To me, if a guy is well groomed and smells nice, he is attractive. Intellegence is always nice too.

I think everyone cares about looks, whether they try to act "above superficial stuff" or not.
It's one thing if you love someone and then something happens to them that effects their looks. I'm sure most people would still love them and still stay, but there are very few people who could fall in love with someone they aren't attracted to.

Yes, at first glance. But, depending on the woman, they will go beyond that to see what the man is like.
