i love covering things with chocolate! i'll share one of my best treats and you share one of yours. take double stuft oreos (may have to warm them for a second in the microwave) spin a sucker stick up in the filling (careful not to break cookie), freeze for 15 min. to let filling harden, spoon melted chocolate chips or bark over it until cookie is coated evenly, lay on wax paper, embellish wih sprinkles, crushed up mint candy or those sugar decos for cake that come stuck on paper sheets. freeze till hard then put top part in a sucker bag and tie with ribbon. it should look like a giant chocolate sucker. (you can get sucker sticks and bags at walmart in craft section or in craft stores). every i know loves these, coworkers loved them so much they paid $1 apiece for them, $12 dozen.

Peppermint Bark

Crushed candy canes, to yield 1 cup
2 pounds white chocolate
Peppermint flavorings, optional (Paula says use about 2 teaspoons, to your taste)

Place candy canes in a plastic bag and hammer into 1/4-inch chunks or smaller.
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler.

Combine candy cane chunks with chocolate (add peppermint flavoring at this point if desired.). Pour mixture onto a cookie sheet layered with parchment or waxed paper and place in the refrigerator for 45 minutes or until firm.

Yield: 2 pounds of candy

I like to take the bulk chocolate you can buy at the grocery store around Christmas time and melt it in a double boiler. I then take a can of mixed nuts and dump them into the chocolate. After all the nuts are coated, I spoon the mixture onto wax paper. Let harden. Store in covered container. These make yummy and fast nut clusters.

Mini Snowman Cake:
-2 pck Hostess Snowballs
-Oreo Cookie
-Mini Reese's peanut butter cup
-Dot Candy
-White Frosting

Put one Hostess snowball on top of the other, stick together using white frosting. Use frosting to stick on Candy Dots, make eyes, smile, nose and buttons. Set aside. Now, to make the hat, Take one of the cookie ends off of the Oreo cookie and throw it away. So now you should have the creme filling on one cookie. Take the wrapper off the MINI Reese's peanut butter cup and use thewhite frosting to stick it to the creme filling part of the oreo. This is your hat, silly looking i agree, but tasty. Use the frosting to stick the hat on top of the snowman. Ta-da!

Treats for dogs too! Take dog treats of any size and dip them in melted white chocolate then freeze until hard. Dogs cannot eat milk or dark chocolate because the cocoa is bad for their body system. However, white chocolate contains no cocoa and is completely safe for dogs to eat! =]

I make homemade chocolate truffles. I usually make a ganache of dark or milk chocolate for the filling. I shape and dip the truffles in white or other types of chocolates, then roll in nuts, coconut flakes, or something else with crunch. My family and friends look forward to them every years.
