Does anyone know how Famous Amos got his chocolate chip cookies so crispy?

As you know, he sold the business and the cookie are not the same. Have been trying many recipes. He hinted it was in the baking, but I'm not so sure.

The trick is using a convectiion oven and upping the temp. Good luck!

Just guessing but I'll bet it was the kind of vegetable shortening
he was using.

I think he burned them or used too much flour. They are terribly dry. I never understood why people bought them more than once.

put nutz in them and overbaked them???? =)
