30! I thought I had it bad. Set a $$ for each kid and stick to it. For the little kids - go to Oriental Trading.com and order some toys, craft kits, crayons, coloring books and gift bags in bulk and make up little goody bags for each of them. For the older kids - buy them all a gift card for a book or music store.

It's not clear to me whether you are buying for all 30 or just the ones whose names haven't been picked. At any rate, I agree with those who suggest a board game to be shared by siblings or some kind of sweet. Or maybe a video that the whole family can enjoy.
If money is not a big concern, gift cards for bookstores or fast food are useful for most people.
It's hard, especially if you don;t know them well. I remember as a kid getting gifts from cousins in other states-- we saw them maybe once every three years and really didn;t know them at all, or they us. The presents they sent were usually things we didn;t want or need. It's hard-- not wanting to be a scrooge yet feeling that you're expected to give, give, give...

If you can knit make scarves, hats, gloves etc. really inexpensive since you buy the wool from the local crafstore or very creative make bracelets or necklaces,I would use my mothers technique but its something that's done during the whole year just shopping at clothing stores and buy from sales racks and stock up and you're set for Christmas or buy gift certificates like Barnes&Noble like $10 buck or give away money that's what all my relatives have done for me =D

Stick to the 'ol names out of a hat. Not everyone is rich. It is the best solution, each couple gets x amount of names. That is the only solution other than buying for all of them...not cheap. Or you can make some cookies and give them some. If they don't like it, oh well. It is the thought that counts. Good luck, you will need it. :)

McDonald gift certificates. Who doesnt like McDonalds at least once in a while and what mom or dad hasnt relied on that for dinner on a busy night. Little kids, older kids, and teens love to eat there and its inexpensive. They usually have off during Christmas break and its a break for the parent too. They dont have to make dinner one night......2 gift in one. Have a great Holiday!!!! PS Im pretty sure you can get them in the drive thru......no crowds.

It is the thought that counts, just a lil sumthin goes along way. Think of something that you can make for them. A tin of homemade cookies and candy will make any kid happy.
