You don't bury survivors only dead people. :-) I wonder if you wanted this answer. If a plane crashes and there are survivors, you would not bury survivors, you would only bury the casualties who are dead.

first you kill them so that there are no witnesses you shot down their plane, then you chop them up into little pieces and bury them in you neighbors rose garden.
