I found a crock pot recipe that i need uncooked converted rice for.

Converted rice is simply rice that has been 'parboiled'. It pretty much assure you to have beautiful individual cooked rice kernals versus having rice that is sticky or mushy. I imagine if you are cooking it in a crock pot, you would want to make sure the rice is fluffy not sticky! Knowing that, any rice would work--but that is the difference! Happy sloooooow cooking!

Exactly! It's just Uncle Ben's rice..uncooked. Put it in the crockpot...it'll cook itself.

try " uncle ben's " uncooked converted rice. it takes 20 minutes though...

you would end up with about 4 cups, since rice "doubles". just a general rule of thumb
