well, i've been using this Clearasil stuff for a while and it's basically cleared up my acne. every once in a while a little bit will come back, but what i'm more focused on is how to get rid of the red marks left behind by the acne. where the red marks are, there used to be acne but there isn't anymore and it's been a few weeks and it still hasn't gone away. keep in mind, i'm a guy of about 16.

I'm an 18 year old female and have used AcneFree for about a year. I have tons of red marks and scars from acne but I guess its easier for me to cover it up with make up lol....umm there's this stuff for about $40 thats supposed to get rid of scars, not sure what its called but its in drugstores. But I suggest using an exfoliator which is supposed to get rid of scars and marks over time (designed for acne-prone skin). Hope I helped!!

Howdy

Going through a difficulty with pimples are hard, I remember wanting to conceal my face, not going to office or high school. It had been specifically difficult while I was in High-school, after I became an adult the acne began to fade away however I would certainly still have it once in a while. There will be occasions when I suffered from huge pimples and I definitely would not even want to meet with folks, then I discovered a number of good specifics of this site: goo.gl/sIIpcC, hope it can help and have a wonderful day!

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

these are called acne scars, which cause hyperpigmentation in your skin. i had a problem with these to. they eventually will fade on there own, but if you do nothing to help speed the process, it will take awhile.
first off, you should start using a product specifically for hyperpigmentation. Hydroquinone is great.
Another thing that works almost instantly, go to your dermatologist and get a chemical peel. Don't go to a salon. THey will charge you about 150.00 in a salon as opposed to maybe $80.00 at MOST at a dermatologist. These peels are really the best thing for hyperpigmented skin because it literally removes the top layer of your skin, lightening it instantly.

I have the same problem and my dermatologist told me that the acne hasn't healed completely yet; however in about a year they should fade considerably if not completely. She also said that the best thing to do is to wear a good oil-free sunscreen because sun damage can slow down the healing process and cause them to scar. I know a year seems like a long time but its not so bad. =]

They are scars. They'll fade with time. I used to have really bad skin, and it left awful scars, but now you can't see anything at all.

Try using a moisturizer with vitamin E in it. There's one at the Body Shop that is supposed to be good. Vitamin E will speed the healing process.

Those are acne scars and i think there are facial peels for them. Your best bet is going to the dermatologist for a professional opinion. The sooner the better!

they do take a long time to heal, but they DO go away with time. just try to, whenever u get any acne, DO NOT TOUCH IT at all! unless ur washing ur face, and wash ur face everytime its oily. thats the best way to get rid of pimples fast. but dont loose hope.
