Lately, I've noticed that every time I drink milk, my stomach seems to react negatively. I only drink it in the mornings, and usually my stomach will hurt for ten-twenty minutes. Last time, I drank hot chocolate and had a full-blown stomachache. I don't think I have lactose intolerance, because it never bothered me so much before, although I never was a huge milk drinker to begin with. Any ideas?

It sounds like you might be lactose intolerant. You can become lactose intolerant even if you weren't before. As a kid all I drank was milk, but as I got older I would get extremely sick from milk, ice cream and other dairy products. Try taking a Lactaid pill with your dairy consumption and see if that works. You can also switch to lactose-free milk which I think actually tastes just as good if not better than regular milk (I've tried soy milk and don't care for it even though it's also an option). Lactaid and Dairy Ease both make it in the whole, 2% and fat free varieties. Breyer's also makes delicious lactose-free vanilla ice cream (as does Lactaid, but it's not available everywhere). Try different things and see what works for you. It definitely sounds like lactose intolerance to me. Good luck!

I was never lactose intolerant until I turned 34 years old. I have to drink lactose free milk now. I cannot have ice cream either unless it is lactose free, and I can no longer have my favourite pie any more; coconut cream.

attempt Lactaid it is going to help because of the fact it provides the lactase enzyme on your physique. take the pill good till now you drink milk. this is over the counter and could no longer be a drug, in basic terms a supplement. google it or flow to a close-by shop.
