did the pub quiz tonight one of the Q`s was how many in a bakers dozen,so i said twelve,common sense , anyway the guy in the corner with a PHD sticking out of his a@rse pocket said i was wrong so i threw my pint over him ....my question is whens the last time you wasted a good pint

Just earlier.. Some guy threw a pint at me coz he thought a baker's dozen was 12.. When I objected he threw it at me then started walkin out.. I threw one back but he'd already left.. Wait a second.. was that you?! lol, take it easy =)

Last time I wasted a good pint was a year ago. It was a lovely Guinness & I stupidly had that 1 last shot... it's always that 1 last shot!!!!
Anyway, the beautiful pint went un-drunk. Shameful.
btw... baker's dozen is 13, & that's the funniest reason for a pub-fight I ever heard of. cheers :)

Can't see the relevance of the PhD. I would have been envious of his funding and support, and would have bought him a drink to find out how he'd managed this. Anyway, PhD in what? Could have been in beer-tasting, so there was no need to be angry/threatened/predudiced. Especially as your answer was wrong. Education has little to do with the ability to answer pub quiz questions, enthusiasm for pub quizzes does.

I lost a pint over a bet I kinda knew I was going to lose, but it seemed like a good idea at the time. Usually I'm well against such abuse... I'm all thirsty now, better get me a drink.. Cheers!

Now you have said it, last week! me and my mate had a row in the pub, i had just over half a pint in it and i went to throw it on her but i missed ( i was drunk ) and got beer all over my other mate who was sat there minding her own business!
SOOO SOORRYY!
we laugh about it now!
