Talk to the vet again and ask them what is wrong. Keep trying to feed him as much as you can you never know if it may help. Also try to watch your kitten because they might be trying to tell you something or signal something to you. That happened to my aunt's kitten. (the kitten was diagnosed with a stomach problem, and the whole time, the kitten was trying to signal that he really had a throat problem instead, and it turned out true!) So most importantly, see the vet, and watch what your kitten signals to you. And if needed, tell the vet what the kitten seems to be doing.

I think the best thing about your question is the common sense and observations you have applied to it - yes puss could be just recovering from the medication, and at least he IS eating, even if it is only a little. Food is one of the best indications of your animals health. But you should ultimately always use your instinct with animals- If you think something isn't right, go to the vet.
Good luck.

i could go into numerous explanations of whats causing this.....but that would waste time! without seeing the kitten no one can give an accurate diagnosis or advice. its not teeth that's for sure.
i recommend you ring the vet immediately or asap this is certainly worrying and if a client rang me and explained the kitten as you have done in your info i would book an emergency appoint!!

Vet, STAT. Kittens are too fragile to stand around wondering. If the vet you see can't give you a satisfactory answer, see another one.

Back to the vet....don't try to diagnose your cat. They aren't like people and don't respond the same way to meds or illness. Take your kitty back to the vet.....he sounds miserable.

You should take him back to the vet and have him re-examined.
The antibiotics may not have completely killed the bacteria, or he may have an underlying illness that wasn't present or noticable at his last exam.

Do not start a guessing game ...you are wasting precious time.
Get her to the vet at once. Cats are very good at hiding sickness.
Good luck

Only a vet can tell you what's going on with your kitten. Ask them.

Something else is going on with him....not the teeth. He needs to be checked for worms-first. Try giving him real soft foods like...mashed potatoes, eggs......see if he will eat this.
