Yes,you can buy a gift for the teacher,it is thanking her and been grateful to her for teaching your son
The best Christmas gift is made from the heart. You can ask your son to make the gift with you.Try making a snow globe. It is an easy task
Take a rounded container and fill it with water and some glitter. Then stick a figure or ornament on the cap and cap it.You can decorate the cap with some stickers or cloth. You can also hang bells or ornaments around the neck of the jar.

I am a preschool teacher and gifts are always nice. It let us know that you care about what we are doing for your child/children. That said, anything is a nice gesture. You can do something to do with being a teacher or you can give her anything that a normal woman around the age would enjoy. Remember, she's not just a teacher. She's a woman with a life as well. Gift cards are always nice or anything to show that you appreciate her.

The preschool classes at our school all go in together and get one big gift like a nice restaurant gift card, of gift basket from bed bath and beyond. But individual gifts are nice too -- if she like coffee a coffee cards, or gift card to the movies. How much you want to spend will probably depend on how often your son goes to school....how long he is there.

I have been teaching preschool for over 15 years and have received numerous gifts through the years. The best gift to give? A note of appreciation for all your teacher does and an enclosed gift card. This lets the teacher choose something that is perfect for her. It is a gift that is appreciated at any age.

I get tons of gifts each year- It's a big perk to a low paying job! I love gift certificates! I can't believe some of these teachers on here requested that you give chocolate or mugs or ornaments. Every year I donate all my chocolates to others- or I would be the size of a house and I donate the ornaments and mugs too. How many mugs can you own?
I love a nice note from the parents telling me how much their child likes me or how much I mean to their family.

Gift cards!!!! or else something for the classroom (books, antibacterial wipes, a new game) is always good. If you want to go more personal you could do a candle, lotion, picture frame, etc. Teachers get a TON of chocolate and little plaques that say A+ teacher...don't get her another one!

Absolutely. I was a pre-school teacher for 2 years (13 yrs ago), and believe it or not, I still have several of the gifts that my kids gave me. (17 yrs old now) My favorite, a penny with an "angel" punched out of the middle. :)

Sure you can! You can give her a gift card or a special gift crafted by you and your son/daughter, or a hand-written note that shows you care.
