Why I go out with a boy is because I dont want to go out with the girls all the time. What makes them feel special is to pamper them with gifts and other fine things. Just treat them with respect and they will enjoy your presents.

i'm dating my boyfriend, because i've come to love his strange little quirks that are unique only to him (like carrying me to the car when it's muddy). i've come to love the bond we've created over the past year and 2 and a half months that we've been together. i feel like my bf is the one to be with, because everytime we're talking on the phone his voice cheers me up, if i've had a hard day, or it seems as if nothing's gone right. (we live 2 hrs away, and he has a job and a ranch to manage with his mom and sister). i love it when he tickles me, and when he holds me when i'm cold, or lets me wear his 2-sizes-too-big-for-me hoodie that he has, that reaches practically down to my knees. i love his old fashioned romantic side of him. and it doesn't bother me one bit, that he's 8 months younger than me.

In the heterosexual community...
Women do it for social status/self esteem since so much of this is wrapped around a penis (sigh)
Men do it to prove to their friends and the outside world that they aren't gay
