I specialize in getting ANY information off of a credit report. I have read many manuals and also given seminars that have taught others how to do it and I used to work for a credit bureau, so I know how to take, bankruptcies, foreclosures, collections off.
This is the main secret. The best time to get unwanted information off of your credit report is NOW!!! Because during the holiday season is busy and under the new Fair Credit Reporting Act admendments and Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions, Act, you should dispute things now. Send letter in a padded envelope and get delivery confirmation from U.S. Post Office, then wait only 30 days after the credit bureau receives it. If they verify then resend immediately but ask for a "method of verification" and if you can add documents to support your case. Under section 611 biii they only have 15 days to respond. If they don't then resend letter and demand deletion under new FACTA law. Remember that there are 4 credit bureaus Trans Union, Experian, Equifax and Innovis in Ohio.
If you need more info contact me via email here and I will answer anyone's question.
Good Luck

You can dispute anything that is on your credit report. When you order a copy of your report there is a form you can use. It can also be done on line. Once you file a dispute the credit bureau has 30 days in which to investigate. If they find that it is not valid or the creditor fails to get back with them within the specified time the item is removed from your report. If it is valid, it will not be removed.

Contact the 3 main credit bureaus, Experian, Eqifax, and Trans Union. You can contact them online by going to Creditreporting .com. It will involve writing letters to each with proof of error, but is well worth the time to keep an accurate and good credit record.
